WhatsApp is nearly ready to migrate Android chats to iPhone

In this article, there is news, gear, messaging, services, and more.

It's a messaging service.

There are two highly-requested features that may be released soon. Since the company made it possible for owners of the aforementioned phones to migrate their chat history from an Apple device, there has been a lot of waiting. According to a post by The Verge, there is evidence that shows a feature in the latest version of the app that will allow you to migrate your chat history from one platform to another. The outlet made a discovery in September.

The app will ask for your permission before starting to migrate your chat history. We know from the earlier leak that you will need to use Apple's Move toiOS app as part of the transfer process. You need a brand new phone and a brand new cable to use on the phone, but it can be hard to figure out how to use it.

A two-step verification feature for its desktop and web clients is in the works, according to an article published over the weekend. If the company moves forward with a release, the tool will allow you to add a personal pin to your account. If you want to access the service through your computer or online, you will need to input your password and six-digit pin from your phone. That will help protect you from attacks on your phone.

It is not clear when the company will release either feature. The head of the messaging service said it would arrive on the phones soon.
