According to a permit from the National Park Service, 20,000 people will march on Sunday for the "Defeat the Mandates" rally.
Notable speakers will include anti-mandate proponents like Del Bigtree, founder of the anti-vaccine group Informed Consent Action Network, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of the slain senator and former attorney general.

The police in D.C. are fully activated for the March for Life rally.

A coalition of doctors and scientists started a petition after the rally gained attention due to the appearance of Dr. Robert Malone, an anti-mandate virologist who is widely criticized for spreading vaccine misinformation.

The city of D.C. implemented a vaccine requirement for anyone over the age of 12 who wants to enter an indoor facility. A quarter of eligible Americans are unvaccinated.
