Shameful: Power-Tripping American Airlines Flight Attendant Threatens Complaining Passenger After Kicking Off Maskless Two-Year-Old

The American Airlines flight attendant in question should be very angry because of her behavior. She is not in a customer-facing role.

The flight attendant went against the passengers.

There was an incident on American Airlines flight 3573 from Key West to Miami. According to an Executive Platinum AAdvantage member who shared about her flight on Facebook, it all began over a mother traveling alone with her baby.

The lady was trying to get her things on the plane. The baby did not have his mask on. The flight attendant yelled at the mother instead of offering to help her carry something.

The flight attendant told her to step off the plane.

Mother: I am trying.

The flight attendant said that the baby shouldn't travel with them if she can't wear a mask.

It's so helpful.

A passenger helped the lady get her car seat to her row. The flight attendant loudly told her colleague that she had added fuel to the fire.

The flight attendant wants the woman to have a mask on. I will throw her off the plane if I go back there.

When the bottle was taken away, the toddler began crying again and refused to keep her mask on.

While the flight attendant demanded she be thrown off, a gate agent and pilot tried to de-escalate the situation. The mother and child were thrown off the flight after the flight attendant insisted on her way.

The story gets worse.

There is no indication that the mother refused to exit the aircraft, and everyone was forced off the flight.

She said to the flight attendant, "You should be ashamed of yourself." A baby is crying. She didn't say anything and just walked off the plane.

A disabled passenger had trouble walking from her seat to the jet bridge to wait for a wheelchair and another passenger began crying, telling those around her she would miss her brother's funeral. Unintended consequences...

The Executive Platinum member shook her head in disgust as she walked by the flight attendant.

The flight attendant yelled, "Do you have a problem?" The passenger didn't reply and the flight attendant kept asking until the passenger finally said yes.

The flight attendant lied to the gate agent and said that the Executive Platinum member was threatening her and should have been kicked off the flight.

The flight attendant asked if he had a problem. The flight attendant yelled at the gate agent when the woman did not respond immediately.

Do you smell alcohol? I smell alcohol.

The passenger and the FA had masks on. She did not consume alcohol.

The woman backed down and said that she didn't want to delay the flight further. She was asked again if she had a problem, and again she said no.

The flight took off after the flight attendant returned to her seat.

An American Airlines spokesman notes.

Two customers were removed from American Airlines flight 3573 before it left Key West for failing to comply with the federal face mask requirement. After agreeing to comply with the face mask requirement, the customers were rebooked for travel on the next available flight to Dallas / Fort Worth.

A member of the team reached out to the customers to learn more about their experience after the incident.

American Airlines should review the incident and ask the flight attendant in question not to serve on any American Airlines flights.

In Charlotte.

The pilots don't think the mask requirement applies to them.

Conclusions.

Two year olds should wear masks. The behavior of the flight attendant is indefensible and her treatment of the mother and Executive Platinum passenger is horrible. She wore an American Airlines uniform on her flight number.

American Airlines needs to control its flight attendants.
