He is right when he is right.

After it was announced that it was introducing verified, hexagonal NFT profile pictures to its paying subscribers, the most loved and loathed power user in the world, Elon Musk, chimed in.

The CEO of both companies argued that the company was focused on the wrong thing.

Musk was angry that this was annoying. The bs is being spent on by the social network while the scam artists are throwing a block party.

One of Musk's most refreshing takes is his criticism of the excesses of cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

Musk has not shied away from making fun of NFTs and their proponents, joking that they may be experiencing hallucinations.

Musk's criticism has to be taken in context. The same goes for Musk's Doge coin, which is a huge bubble waiting to burst.

It is great that the world's richest man is not spending his money on expensive computer pictures. No matter how many meme he posts, his complaints aren't going to magically erase the real-world damage NFTs are causing right now.

The new NFT profile feature ruffled feathers in the community, including those of Musk.
