Audio performance is excellent despite the fact that smaller real estate limits how much of a boom the low-end of the sound spectrum will have. ANC works well in most environments because they're tightly nestled into your ears.
The popular voice assistant should work as if it's been there the whole time, since it is in the mix here. It's not going to be completely different from Sony's model, but it is nice to have. You can control smart home devices, ask general queries, set reminders, play songs from Amazon Music, and more. By this point, you already know the answer to that.
There are some things that can happen with this tech. The earbuds have a slimmer profile than their predecessors, but you may need to make adjustments when out for a jog or run. The IPX4 rating is a modest upgrade from before and doesn't put these earbuds in rugged territory.
