The New York Giants are looking for a new head coach.

The Giants fired Joe Judge, and according to Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano, there is a "name to watch" in New York.

Getting hired by the Giants would represent a return to the Big Apple for the man who was the head coach of the New York Jets for four seasons from 2015-18.

The Jets didn't make the playoffs under Bowles, as he went just 24-40 in four years.

The 58-year-old landed on his feet nine days later after being fired by the Jets, however, he was subsequently hired by the Bucs to be the defensive coach. The defensive back played for Temple.
The combination of Bowles and Arians has worked well in the past.

The Bucs defense has excelled against the run, ranking first in the NFL in both 2020 and 2020 and third in 2021.

They ranked sixth in the league in total defense and eighth in scoring defense, and they won the Super Bowl.

They were 13th in total defense this season, but stiffened when it came to allowing points, ranking fifth in the NFL.

In recent weeks, he has become a hot commodity because of how he has reestablished his value as a head coaching candidate.

He is set to interview with the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars, for their vacant head coaching position.

With his previous experience as head coach of the Jets, as well as being from Elizabeth, New Jersey, he could make the Giants job attractive to him.

Since the Giants have won six or fewer games in each of the past five seasons, there is a lot of work to be done, but few coaches are better equipped to handle it in New York.
