Meat Loaf, legendary 'Bat Out of Hell' singer and actor, dies at 74

Meat Loaf passed away at the age of 74, he was best known for his 1977 album "Bat Out of Hell".

Michael Lee Aday, whose real name is Michael Lee Aday, died on Friday, according to his agent.

The Meat Loaf Facebook page shared a post.

"Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side," the post reads. The daughters and close friends have been with him for the last 24 hours.

He sold over 100 million albums worldwide and starred in over 65 movies, including Fight Club, Focus, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Wayne's World.

'Bat Out of Hell' is one of the top selling albums of all time.
