USA Hockey's 'Star Wars'-themed jerseys receive actor Mark Hamill's endorsement

The USA Hockey National Team Development Program's under 17 squad will wear "Star Wars" inspired jerseys for their game against the Madison Capitols on Friday night. It will be the team's eighth annual "Star Wars" night.

The front depicts a scene from "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" with a lightsaber next to a Jedi. The back of the book shows a picture of Skywalker staring at his X-Wing Fighter as it sinks in the Dagobah swamp.

Can't wait to see them tomorrow night.

The USA Hockey's NTDP is January 20, 2022.

The team will auction off their "Star Wars" threads to raise money for a children's hospital.

The Force was so strong in USA Hockey's jerseys that even Skywalker was impressed.

The apparel was re-posted to Mark Hamill's 5 million followers on the social networking site.

Many thanks to the USA hockey team. I'll never get to be on a hockey team.
