According to reports, the way the Arizona Cards ended the season did not sit well with the team's owner.

The Arizona Republic's Kent Somers reported that the Cards were bounced from the playoffs after a disappointing performance against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cards won their first seven games of the season. Arizona looked like the best team in the league during that time as it had a high-powered offense and a strong defense.

Things slowed down in the second half of the season. In their last eight games, the Cards didn't reach 30 points. The Detroit Lions entered the game with a poor record and suffered a demoralizing Week 15 loss to Arizona.

Kyler Murray missed three games due to an ankle injury, but he looked like he was going to be an award winning quarterback. Murray had two games with multiple touchdown after his return. He didn't have a rushing touchdown in the final five games, and he didn't use his dual-threat ability as much.

Arizona's performance in the playoffs was disappointing. The Rams dominated the Cards from start to finish in a 34-11 victory. One of Murray's two picks was returned for a touchdown after he threw the ball up for grabs to avoid a sack.
