A film studio is being built in space, but that is not the only aspect of the story.
The company working with Tom Cruise to produce a movie filmed in space is cool, but what is more eye-catching is the company's rendering of what the studio will look like.
The British company Space Entertainment Enterprises and the commercial space station builder Axiom Space will build the content creation studio, which is expected to be launched in 2024.
It takes a while to notice that part of the X-shaped spaceship is very similar to the Magic Wand, a device that is beloved in the world over for its masturbatory purposes and often referred to as the Cadillac of vibrators.
Tom Cruise will be starring in a movie that will be shot in space, and the company plans to launch a sports arena and production studio in space.

For those who have been living under a rock for the past 50 years, here is what the Magic wand looks like.
The image is in the Wikimedia Commons.
The space studio is larger and more dense than the head of a Magic wand, but the resemblance is so close that it's hard to believe.
Cruise has a storied past as well. The wand became popular in the 70s and 80s after sex educator Betty Dodson used them in her masturbation workshops, and after one of her followers, Dell Williams, became inspired to start her.
The OG Magic Wand and its many imitators have become synonymous with the term "vibrator" due to its outrageous popularity.
It won't work but it's fine.

You have to wonder if the artist who did this rendering of the space studio knew what they were doing, and if they would have noticed the irony of the story being attached to Cruise, a believer in a religion that frowns on masturbation. Maybe the whole thing is a marketing strategy.
This rendering is either a hilarious oversight or an intentional troll, and we are absolutely here for it.

We need to talk about gay sex in space.
