Maxar Technologies collected photos of what it says are Russian forces deployed to positions from 10 to 100 miles of the Ukrainian border in western Russia.

Most of the photos from the well-known commercial satellite imagery firm were taken this week.

The US had information that Russia had put operatives in Ukraine for a possible invasion.
