Sometimes it can be difficult to remember that the original Archie rarely dealt with serial killers, ritual sacrifice, or anything like that. There is a chance that you have been sleeping on the adventures of the Archie comics. I have proof that that needs to stop now.
Bite-Sized Archie is a webcomic that will have a year of strips collected in a graphic novel this May. We have a sample set of six, and I love them all. Bite-Sized Archie is not the same as Little Archie, who is getting a one-shot comic special in April. We have a preview of the Fun With Little Archie & Friends Special, which features the rugrats getting thrown into a cavalcade of game parodies by the Teenage Witch. Enjoy!
Archie has a bean dad in the Bite-Sized Archie comics.
A social media manager.
I enjoy that Pop's puts a picture of a hamburger on its door to indicate that the diner is closed.

Cheryl has done a lot of things on the show.
If it ended with the same panel of Cheryl smiling in front of a house that was on fire, it would be great.
The cover of the one-shot special is byErin Hunting. Look at how bored the cat is. The official synopsis is here.
Little Archie and his friends are going to have a lot of fun. When Little Archie, Little Jughead, and Little Betty and Veronica meet up, there is a lot of chaos and they are transported into a new world of games inspired by their favorite hobbies. They are going to brave the mystical and mysterious realm of Gryphons and Gargoyles, form a big-wheel gang, and attempt to relax in an exciting animal farming video game.
Little Archie and his friends play a game called Gryphons & Gargoyles in this interior page. It is a parody of D&D, but it was also the center of a cult that was very violent.
I would play this game if I had the chance, because of the character designs from the comic.
The variant cover of the special is courtesy of artist Brittney Williams.
Here are a few of the regular Little Archie characters from a couple of the various artists contributing stories to the comic.
