You can't just wash it.
Apple is depicted in the image of cloth.
You got your hands on Apple's hottest product, the $19 polishing cloth, which is meant for cleaning Apple devices. Oh no! Instead of hanging it up with the rest of your priceless artifacts, you accidentally used it to clean something. Thankfully, Apple has given us a guide on how to make our cloth good as new, and 9to5Mac has brought those instructions to our attention.
Are you ready? The process for cleaning the glass on the Apple display is described in the support article.
1. The cloth should be washed with dish soap and water.
>
2. It should be done thoroughly.
>
3. The polishing cloth should be air dried for at least 24 hours.
According to the Way Back Machine, the instructions have been on Apple's website for at least a few months. It is really a shame that other people who didn't know about the instructions might have thrown away their polishers because they didn't know how to clean them. The Apple home page is where all people of the cloth spend their day.
The instructions are disappointing, as Apple tells us to wash the cloth like any other delicate fabric. It is back in stock.
