Randall Cobb is expected to return for the Green Bay Packers against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.
Matt LaFleur said he would expect him to play in the game.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Cobb has been out since November when he had surgery to repair a core muscle injury. He is expected to play in the divisional round of the playoffs.
The trade with the Houston Texans that brought him back to Green Bay came at the request of Rodgers. After eight years with the Packers, Cobb moved on to the Broncos in 2019.
He had 28 catches for 375 yards and five touchdown in 12 games in the regular season. He scored multiple touchdown in two different games this year and had 95 receiving yards and a touchdown in his final game before the injury.
The Packers finished 10th in the NFL in both total yards and points scored this season.
Against the 49ers pass rush, it's important for Rodgers to have an outlet.
