According to Turron Davenport, the TennesseeTitans running back responded well to contact in a padded practice Tuesday, which could mean a return to the field Saturday against the CincinnatiBengals.
During individual drills, defensive players had to hit Henry.

He hasn't had contact in a while. We will have a week of work to make a decision.

Henry has been out since Week 8 because of a fractured foot, but he was allowed to return on January 5.

He spoke about his return to the field.

He told reporters he felt good. I haven't done anything for two and a half months. Just getting used to being me again.

Henry was unstoppable before the injury, totaling 937 rushing yards and 10 touchdown in eight games. Despite playing less than half the regular season, he finished inside the top 10 in each category.

He would have led the league in rushing yards if he qualified, with only Jonathan Taylor averaging more than 90 yards per game.

Henry has led the NFL in both rushing yards and touchdown in each of the past two years. His 2,027 rushing yards in 2020 were the fifth-most in NFL history.

His return could be a big boost for the team, who won the conference's only bye. The week off gave Henry more time to get back to full strength, which could be a problem for the Bengalers.

The running back couldn't commit to playing in the game.

If Henry is unavailable, D'Onta Foreman would get the majority of the work.
