I Have Very Bad News About the Justice League

They have lost fights. The team has been dissolved. They have had individual members die, they have been wiped out of existence, and they have been forced to start over from scratch. The Justice League is not going to get a second chance to solve the problem that they have never faced before.

Justice League #75 will feature a dying team. Almost all of them. According to writer Joshua Williamson, things are going to get darker before dawn. The Dark Army has been building on the edge of the multiverse and the Justice League was called in to fight them. They go against the Dark Army and lose.

He means "die" when he says "lose". Only one superhero who goes to fight the Dark Army will give humanity the bad news. For the foreseeable future, that will be the final issue of Justice League.

It's the 30th anniversary of the Death of Superman event, in which the Man of Steel fell at the very large fists of Doomsday, and the League is dying in issue #75. It doesn't seem like the Justice League will have the same opportunity as he did. The death of Superman was so powerful that there were no Superman comics for three months. This is the last issue of Justice League and that is what led us to make that decision. There is still no Justice League comic three months later. There is no Justice League after this story, and that will be a major part of what the DCU looks like after that.

Justice League #75 will be a 48 page issue with a lot of covers from Daniel Sampere and Alejandro Sanchez, Alex Maleev, Dan Jurgens, Norm Rapmund, Mikel Janin, Simone Di Meo, Tony Harris, and more. On April 19 it will be on sale at comic shops.
