Arthur is a children's book written by Mark Brown and tells the story of a talking aardvark who lives in Elwood City with his parents and sisters. He and his friends went to third grade under the watch of their strict teacher, Mr. Ratburn, who made headlines in 2019. Tough subjects like divorce and asthma were touched on in the show. The show won several awards during its run. It was the most popular show for kids ages 2 to 11 in the early 2000s. John Lewis, Joan Rivers, B.J. Novak, Larry King, and many others have guest starred on the show. The 25th season of Arthur will be the last on PBS.
