New Apple Products Revealed in Regulatory Database, Likely Including New iPhone SE and iPad Air

Consomac spotted that Apple filed new models of the iPad and iPhone in the database.

The rumored third-generation iPhone SE, fifth-generation iPad Air, and possibly more are all in the filings. The iPad models have the same number of identifiers as the iPhone models, A2588, A2589, A2591, A2696, A2757, A2759, and A2766.

The release of new Apple products has been foretold by these filings for years, including several Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Apple Watch, and AirPods models. Any device that is sold in Russia and other countries that offers encryption must be filed.

The third-generation iPhone is expected to have the same design as the current one, with a larger display. The A15 Bionic chip is the same as the one used in the iPhone 13 models.

The fifth-generation iPad Air is expected to have features from the sixth-generation iPad mini, including an A15 Bionic chip, 12-megapixel Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage support, 5G for cellular models, and Quad-LED True Tone flash.
