The Kingdom Hearts JRPG trilogy would be coming to the Nintendo Switch, but only as cloud streaming titles. Kingdom Hearts - HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III will be available for $90 or $72 on pre-order on February 10th.
The entire series has covered Sora's journey up to Kingdom Hearts III. The original and Kingdom Hearts III are the best-selling titles in the series.
The cloud version of the Switch trilogy requires a fast internet connection to have a decent experience. One has to wonder why the first two games couldn't have been remakes to run on the Switch, since the cloud release seems valid for the latest Kingdom Hearts III chapter first released on the PS4 and Xbox One. It can run both the Witcher 3 and the Assassin's Creed collection, which will arrive on February 18th.
The Advent Red Keyblade is included in the Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind version if you purchase the all-in-one collection. There will be a mini concert, Q&A with the development team, an exhibition and more at the Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary event in Tokyo.
Pre-order the collection for $72. You can pre-order individual titles for different prices if you want. If you want to see the trilogy before the February 10th release date, try to pick it up before the price goes up to $90.
Pre-order and full pricing have been added.
