One of the roles that The Rock is proudest of is being a co-owner of the XFL.

During Monday's Manning Cast, Johnson explained why he was so important to the revival of the XFL.

You have a passion for the game of football and you know it. I love football. During the second quarter, Johnson told the Mannings that his dream of making it to the NFL never came true. This is a full-circle moment for me. I worked so hard at the University of Miami that I didn't make it.

Johnson said that it was his goal to create an alternative for players who want to continue their football careers but don't get the chance to play in the NFL.

"But now, years later, to be able to be the owner of the XFL, a league that we've galvanized with great leadership teams, great organization, a lot of passion," he said. To be able to create opportunities for players to play the game that they love, play the game that we love, pay their bills, take care of their families and keep their dream alive is a full-circle moment for me.

The XFL will be purchased by Johnson and his business partner Dany Garcia in August 2020 for 15 million dollars.

The main focus of Johnson will be to create a league that caters to the players.

The XFL owner said that his top priority was to take care of the players and create opportunities for them.

The XFL is expected to be launched in the year 2023. The league recently added six people to its football operations team.
