Joss Whedon responds to 'Justice League' cast allegations

Justice League cast members don't have a good relationship with Whedon. The director who took over the project from the one who left has been accused of racism, threats, and being a pain to work with from the likes of Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot, and Ben Affleck. That's not the only thing. The Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel sets were the scene of bad behavior by the actor. In a revealing interview, Whedon has broken his silence.
New York Magazine's profile piece goes into a broad spectrum of allegations against Whedon, ranging from cheating on his former wife to bully a female screenwriter to the point of crying on the job. He makes excuses for others. Is there a rule on the Buffy set that Whedon would not be allowed alone in a room with Trachtenberg? Not that he remembers. Was he hostile to the other person? He admits that he yelled and sometimes you had to yell. It was easy for everything to turn into a cocktail party with this young cast.
He's not as vague when it comes to Justice League.
Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot had previously spoken about how she was threatened by Whedon when they got into disagreements about his reshoots of the original project.

"I don't threaten people," said Whedon. Who does that? He said that the Israeli actress was not her first language and that he was annoyingly flowery in his speech.
Gadot replied, "I understood perfectly."
Fisher, the actor cast as the superhero, accused the writer/director of anti-Black racism in his approach to the character. Fisher described Whedon's behavior toward the cast and crew as "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable."

None of Fisher's claims were either true or merited discussing. "We're talking about a malign force, so why would Fisher wage such a campaign?" asked Whedon. A bad actor is in both senses.
Fisher responded to Whedon's interview with a message.

Looks like it's going to be a Joss Whedon movie.
