Awesome Games Done Quick 2022 raised a record $3.4 million for charity

The runs were similar to the 'Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice' game.

The Awesome Games Done Quick marathon is over. AGDQ raised $3,408,729 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation after another week of players showing off their skills and romping through games as quickly as possible. That's a new record for any Games Done Quick event.

The games done quick

The highest donation was $236,656 and the median pledge was $25. AGDQ 2022, the next event, hit $1 million in donations in less than two hours.

AGDQ was once again an online-only event. There were still some amazing runs even though there wasn't an audience to hype up the players. A runner namedMitchriz beat the game in two hours while blindfolded by using audio and knowledge of the game.

Runners broke world records in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Pumpkin Jack and Webbed. You can watch the AGDQ runs on the Games Done Quick YouTube channel.

Between February 27th and March 5th, there will be an all-women speed running event called Frost Fatales. You will be able to watch it on twitch. The Summer Games Done Quick will return later this year.
