The interim coach of the Las Vegas Raiders said Monday that he has had preliminary talks with the team's owner about getting the full-time job.

The Raiders are still looking at other options.

Sources told Adam that the team wants to interview Jerod Mayo for the head coach position. Sources said that Las Vegas has inquired about the general manager job that had been held by Mike Mayock.

Mayock was fired by the Raiders after three seasons.

"Davis has to interview some other candidates, as well as I know," he said in his video news conference. I'm respectful of the process, what it looks like and how it works. I think we'll talk again before the week is over, and we'll be in constant conversation.

Jon Gruden resigned as head coach of the Raiders on October 11. It was the first time that Bisaccia had ever been a head coach.

The Raiders, who were 3-2 at the time of Bisaccia's promotion, went 6-7 under him and 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 888-270-6611 Las Vegas fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in a wild-card-round game.

Las Vegas had a record six walk-off wins this season and had the first-and-goal at the Cincinnati 9-yard line with 30 seconds to go. The Raiders' season ended on a fourth-and-goal play from the 1-yard line after Carr threw a pass that was short of the goal line.

"Maybe we got a little bit of a communication issue, and I think we would have been better off trying to get the play off," he said.

The Raiders were just 1-for-5 in red zone trips.

Carr, Maxx Crosby, defensive endYannick Ngakoue, and receiver Hunter Renfrow are some of the Raiders players who have voiced their support of Bisaccia being retained.

"I think we can all agree that he's the right guy," Carr said after the game. People listen to him. Our team listens. I'm thankful for him because I love him so much.

If you look at what happened, you'll see that he held it together.

The Raiders also cut receiver Henry Ruggs III, after he was involved in a high-speed car crash that left a woman dead, and a video of him brandishing guns and making death threats went public. The season included the death of John Madden, a road game being postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak, and the arrest of a player.

Rich has proven that he can do it at this level, and we love playing for him. I think he can lead us. We will see how the cards fold. We will work towards winning a Super Bowl next year, and we will love whoever they bring in.

Davis has remained silent on the matter, though names such as Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, the former Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson, and the current coach of the Cardinal David Shaw have all been linked to the head coaching job.

The Rooney Rule requires Davis to interview at least two minority candidates for the head coaching job. The coach who is Black is on the coaching staff of the New England.

All of the coaches under contract already went through exit interviews with players and were working on player evaluations, and he would work through the week as the "acting head coach" and stay in touch with Davis.

The coaches and myself will have time off starting Thursday, and we'll just wait to see what happens.
