San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo has 'slightly' sprained throwing shoulder, should be OK for Saturday vs. Green Bay Packers

Jimmy Garoppolo suffered an injury in the 49ers' victory over the Dallas Cowboys, his second injury of the season.

Garoppolo is dealing with a slight injury to his throwing shoulder. The injury happened in the second quarter.

The Niners have a number of key players nursing injuries this week, including quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who is questionable for Saturday night's game against the Packers.

Warner and Garoppolo should be ready to play against Green Bay. When the team returns to practice on Tuesday, the coach believes Garoppolo will be able to practice.

He should be fine for practice. He had to play through some pain, but he checked out fine. He should be fine for Tuesday's practice.

The Niners and their fans were frightened by Warner's ankle injury in the fourth quarter. He should be okay this week, though it's not clear if he will resume practice right away.

"We'll evaluate and see as the week goes," he said. The initial scare was that it could have been high, so we got good news on that. He had something similar to this earlier in the year, but we'll evaluate him on Wednesday, which I think is Tuesday this week.

Warner apologized for the scare and thanked everyone for their support. We will be good to go. Huge win, onto the next.

The status of Bosa is uncertain because he must clear the concussion protocol in order to play. San Francisco's 23-17 win against Dallas was marred by a concussion suffered by Bosa.

Positive reports came in from people who spoke to Bosa on Sunday night or Monday morning.

"We're pretty confident with it," he said. I've seen that a few times and he seems like he's in a pretty good spot right now, but I'm not going to judge that.

Niners defensive end Jordan Willis is in doubt for the Packers after he suffered a high ankle injury against the Cowboys.

With a short week and less time for their injured players to heal, the Niners will have a lighter schedule this week. They will have a late start time on Tuesday, followed by less strenuous practices on Wednesday and Thursday before traveling to Green Bay.

"Recovery is going to be the biggest thing about this week," he said. We'll slow most of the stuff down if we can get more sleep. I don't think we'll get many full-speed reps this week.
