Robert Lewandowski: Bayern striker wins Best Fifa Men's Player of the Year award



Robert Lewandowski was named the Best Fifa Men's Player of the Year in the year 2021.

For the second year in a row, the top prize was claimed by Lewandowski.

He beat out Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah for the award.

The all-time top international goal scorer wasRonaldo.

Putellas won the Best Women's Player of the Year.

Muller's 49-year-old record for scoring the most goals in a calendar year was broken by Lewandowski with 43 in 34 league appearances.

Tuchel won the award for the best men's coach for guiding the Blues to their second title in three years.

The best goal in world football during the year was won by Lamela after his 'rabona' finish in the north London derby.

Mendy won the award for the best men's goalkeeper after a successful first season with the club, which included a clean sheet in the win over Manchester City in the final of the European Championship.

The Danes won the Best Fifa fair play award for their swift response after Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field during the Euro 2020 game.

On a night that saw her side win a trio of domestic trophies, Emma Hayes won the Best Fifa women's coach award.

The Best Fifa men's team of the year included Ruben Dias and Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City, N'Golo Kante and Jorginho of Chelsea, andRonaldo of Manchester United.

The Portugal captain was not included on the individual prize for the first time since the award's inception, even though he was included in the best XI.

The male team includes David Alaba, Leonardo Bonucci, Kevin de Bruyne, and Ruben Dias.
