The South Carolina women's basketball team remained the top ranked team.
The national media panel gave the Gamecocks 28 of the 30 first-place votes after they beat Texas A&M and Arkansas. South Carolina is off until next week.
There was no change at the top of the poll, as Louisville, North Carolina State, Tennessee, and Indiana followed the Gamecocks. The other two first-place votes went to Louisville.

Florida Gulf Coast fell out of the poll after losing to Princeton. The Eagles were ranked in late November. The team's success this year and last season has been due to the play of junior guard Kierstan Bell. She has averaged 24.6 points and 7.9 rebound for the team, which beat Liberty on Saturday. Bell had 25 points.
