Jet2 announces biggest-ever Iceland programme

The biggest-ever Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks programme is in response to strong demand for winter 2022-23.

The airline and sister tour operator has expanded its programme to include twice-weekly services from Manchester and Bristol airports.

Jet2 will add additional flights to its 10 UK bases next winter, which will mean almost 120 outbound services to Iceland from the 10 bases.

Jet2 said its flights from Manchester and Birmingham are perfect for people who want to experience the Northern Lights from September 29 to November 21, 2022, and February 9 to April 24, 2023.

Jet2CityBreaks is operating more than 40 three and four-night holidays to Iceland from eight UK bases, including Bristol for the first time.

The chief executive said that they are delighted to be expanding their successful programme even further for winter 2022-23.

Customers and independent travel agents are getting more choice and flexibility with a great programme of scheduled flights. The choice of award-winning flights and breaks through Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks means we are looking ahead to a very busy programme next winter, as the popularity of the natural wonders of Iceland makes it a firm favourite with our customers.

The director of airline relations and route development at Keflavik Airport said that they were thrilled to hear of the strong demand for trips and holidays to Iceland. They are valued partners.

We are looking forward to working with them on their increased programme for the 2022-23 winter season.
