The fans felt the same way as us. The refs took off and got out of there quickly. I think everyone is upset with the way this thing was played out.

Cowboys fans were upset with the officials after one of the most bizarre endings in recent NFL history.
With no timeouts remaining and 14 seconds left in the game, Dallas had the ball down six, and quarterback Dak Prescott took off on a designed run. The clock ran out after he was tackled in bounds and then ran over by the official trying to catch up, as he tried to spike the ball to get one more chance at a touchdown.
The officials decided the game was over before the Cowboys had a chance at a final play.
It was difficult to blame the refs for the entire game, as the offense only scored 17 points with 10 coming in the fourth quarter. San Francisco gave the Cowboys multiple chances with a roughing-the-punter penalty and a failure to stop a fake punt, and the home team still struggled to put points up on the board.
The play call was questionable because the Cowboys didn't have timeouts and would have only had one more play if they spiked the ball.
They would have been better off running a pass play to the sideline or trying a deep ball to the end zone.
The fans were still angry after the game, and the confusion that came from the official running over the quarterback didn't help. A few angry fans threw trash on the field.
