NBC's sketch comedy show confirmed on Sunday that Will Forte will host for the first time. Mneskin, a popular Italian rock band, is set to begin a tour in March.

The Last Man on Earth, which ran for four hilarious seasons before being canceled in 2018, is one of the things you may remember about Will Forte. It's the former that makes the upcoming appearance noteworthy.
SNL's MacGyver parody character, who is basically a MacGruber, has its roots in the show. The character was first introduced in a Season 32 episode and became a staple for repeat appearances. There was a whole, entire MacGruber movie by 2010. The streaming revolution will allow for the revival of the character on Peacock.
Will MacGruber come back to SNL with the guy who plays him? It's anyone's guess, but we'd guess that's a "Yes!", given the character's resurgence and his origins on SNL.
