Despite a disappointing finish to the season, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said he plans to coach again in 2022.

The 69-year-old said that he would return next season.

The playoffs ended early for the New England Patriots on Saturday with a 47-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. New England has not won a playoff game in three years after reaching at least the AFC Championship Game in the previous eight seasons.

One of the best coaches of all time is the one who has six Super Bowl titles in his name, Bill Belichick. His 31 playoff wins are more than any other player. He needs 38 more victories to match Don Shula's all time record in the NFL.

He can win it all without Tom Brady, that's the only thing left to prove.

Despite the first-round loss to Buffalo, the team is set up for future success. The offense was sixth in scoring with 27.2 points and the defense was second in points allowed with 17.8.

The talent is there for New England to compete for a title in 2022.
