The longest active streak of playoff futility in the history of the Cincinnati Bengals was 31 years when they were in the playoffs. Their fans celebrated a 26-19 victory thanks in large part to quarterback Joe Burrow, who looked cool, calm and collected in his first postseason appearance.
After the game, head coach Zac Taylor let out a sigh of relief for those who supported the team through its disappointing seasons and playoff failures.
"I'm really, really happy for the city of Cincinnati, that they get a chance to enjoy this," Taylor said.
After the final whistle, Burrow was focused on the task at hand.
We expected this. We took care of the business. The quarterback said to go to the next round.
When asked about the team breaking through a playoff barrier, Burrow maintained his relaxed attitude.
Ben Baby, you're my baby.

I regret to inform everyone that Joe Burrow actually said "It felt good" when he was asked about breaking the 31 year long dry spell. This account is very sorry for the error. Here is the picture so you can see the glasses.

That's the demeanor the team needs. It's not just about making the playoffs and winning a game. He has a lot of ambitions. The 25-year-old earned his stripes Saturday, despite his cockiness.
Michael Vick and Andrew Luck were the other quarterbacks to win a playoff game within their first two seasons. He's the real deal, that's what the Raiders know.
The quarterback went 24 of 34 for 244 yards and two touchdown. One of his scores came with some controversy, but he was given credit for extending the play and finding Tyler Boyd in the back of the end zone.

In the second half, he didn't throw a touchdown pass, but he put his team in a position to seal the deal. The second-year signal-caller relied heavily on wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who finished with nine catches for 116 yards. The tight end caught six passes for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Over the past month, the Raiders have won four games and allowed an average of 19.8 points per game. Even though they gave up a lot of points, the unit forced two turnovers.
On Saturday, he took care of the ball and didn't seem rattled.
By Week 9 he had thrown 11 picks. He had a tendency to give away a possession or two, but the young signal-caller hasn't thrown an interception or lost a fumbled ball since Week 13.
The Raiders held the Bengals to 83 rushing yards on 3.3 yards per carry. The pace of the game was controlled by Burrow, who consistently completed crucial passes to Chase and Uzomah. Cincinnati won because of him.
The quarterback of the Cincinnati Reds is Andy Lyons.
A franchise quarterback is a crucial piece of the puzzle in the NFL. That's why teams use the top picks to acquire signal-callers. When the Bengal's took him with the top pick in 2020, they were able to get everything they wanted from him.
He had shown some promise with a losing team before he tore his knee and was out for the rest of the season.
He's looked unflappable in the pocket even though he's had a knee surgery and the offensive line is shaky.
The signal-caller deserves to be considered for the Comeback Player of the Year. He's improved greatly in his second term, leading the league in completion percentage (70.4) and yards gained per pass attempt (8.9).
Chase probably knows that he doesn't capture the rookies receiving yards record without Burrow under center. He wanted his quarterback to win the league's most valuable player award.

Joe Burrow should be in the Pro Bowl. He should be in theMVP race. My chat with the rookies went great today, he had 266 receiving yards and 3 touchdown.

It's not a mistake that the Bengalers have been elevated within a short period. After five consecutive losing seasons and three straight fourth-place finishes in the division, they sit atop their division with a date set for the divisional round after the franchise's first playoff win in three decades.
On top of that, he holds the Cincinnati's record in passing yards and touchdown for a single season. He's moved Andy Dalton, Boomer Esiason and Carson Palmer out of those categories.
Fans have reason to believe that he is the guy to take the club to new heights, as his passing production has come with team wins.
The club needs to stay in playoff contention for the foreseeable future, and that's exactly what Burrow is. He has arm talent, mobility, and leadership, which is moving him toward top-five territory among quarterbacks.
If Cincinnati makes it to the Championship Game, be careful. The chant "Who Dey" is the signature chant of the fanbase, and we may be left wondering who is going to beat the Bengals.
