The Las Vegas Raiders and the Cincinnati Bengals were playing in the Wild Card game at Paul Brown Stadium, and the score was 20-13 at the half.
On a third-and-four at the end of the first half, Burrow scrambled out of the pocket, rushed toward the sideline, and found Tyler Boyd for a 10-yard touchdown pass. It was a controversial play, as an accidental whistle was blown while the ball was in the air.
The play should have been stopped because of the whistle. The officials ruled a touchdown, and the Bengals went up 20-6.

Why isn't anyone focused on why the whistle was blown? There were no flags for penalties and the burrow didn't step out of bounds.

It was a mistake to blow the whistle when the ball was in the end zone. They made two mistakes on that play.

There is a mistake. It should have been a replay. No question. The play was unaffected by the late whistle. If people want to cry about it, that is their business.
