Tsunami Warning In Effect for West Coast After Tonga Volcano Eruption

The eruption of a volcano off the island of Tonga has sent a lot of shock waves around the world.

The images of the moment the volcano blew are mind-blowing, giving you a true sense of how powerful this thing was -- and how devastating as well.

The real-world effects were felt immediately, and people heard and saw the boom. Several videos of the damage were posted, and it was bad.

You can see water tearing through residential areas and ripping down gates and fences in some of the clips. Some areas seem to have been hit harder than others.
