'Pixel Notepad' might be the name of Google's rumored foldable device

There is more evidence that shows that the foldable phone train is coming soon.

A new report from 9to5Google said that the foldable device that could be launched by the end of 2022, may be called "Pixel Notepad" and come in at a more reasonable price point than the $1,899 price tag that the Z Fold 3 was released last year. Even if it is less than $1,799, it will still be expensive, because the report didn't put a specific number on the price.

The name of the device could change prior to the announcement. At one point it was referred to as Logbook. The device is unconfirmed, but it is reported that it will run on the new Tensor chips that power the Pixel 6 phones. There is art found in a recent build of the software that suggests in almost square 7:8 aspect ratio when fully unfolded.

There have been whispers of a foldable Pixel since February of last year. Some people thought it could come out by the end of 2021. That didn't happen. We don't know what it's called, what it looks like, or if it's real.
It could be a big deal if a quality foldable that doesn't cost three times as much as some people's rent is made.
