The first major promotion of 2022. I wanted to remind people to register after we learned of the details.
Every two nights you can earn bonus points.
The bonus journeys promotion is valid for stays from January 15 to April 20. After every two nights stayed, World of Hyatt members earn bonus points.
There are some things to be aware of.
You have to register before your first eligible stay, which is March 15, 2022.
The promotion is valid for stays at all Hyatt properties.
The promotion includes stays booked prior to the start of the promotion.
You earn 2,022 bonus points after every two nights, regardless of whether or not the nights are consecutive.
You can be rewarded for 20 nights during the promotion period, and you could earn up to 20,220 bonus points.
The award will qualify for this promotion.
The World of Hyatt has a new promo.
Credit card members get an extra bonus.
The World of Hyatt Credit Card can be used to earn a further reward.
Cardmembers can earn an additional 1,000 bonus points when they stay at certain properties.
There are over 180 properties in 10 cities, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.
The cardmembers can earn a maximum of 10,000 bonus points.
Card members can earn extra rewards at certain properties.
The World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotion is better than nothing, but not as good as the promotions we have seen from the program during the Pandemic.
I value World of Hyatt points at 1.5 cents each. How does the math work out for this promotion?
You can only earn 1,011 bonus points per night for your first 20 nights in the promotion period, but you can earn an additional 15 bonus points for each night you stay.
For up to 10 stays, those with a co- branded credit card can earn an additional 1,000 bonus points, which is like anIncremental Return of 15 per stay, but only for up to 10 stays.
Points earning rates with World of Hyatt are not included in these rewards.
This promotion is better than nothing, but it wouldn't be enough to get me to switch to Hyatt. The maximum reward is $15 per night, plus up to an additional $15 reward per stay in select cities for those with a Hyatt credit card.
The offer is good for those who make award stays and for those who stay at inexpensive properties. This is a lackluster promotion for people who stay longer at expensive properties. The four month gap between promotions is especially disappointing when you consider that Hyatt's last major promotion ended in September of 2021.
This promotion is not very rewarding.

There are many ways to earn World of Hyatt points.
World of Hyatt has just launched a new promotion. After every two nights, members can earn bonus points for the first 20 nights of the promotion. Those with a co- branded credit card can earn bonus points at select properties.
This new offer is not as good as the triple points promotion we saw in early 2021. This isn't a great offer for those who stay at more expensive properties, but for those who make award stays or inexpensive stays.
