The New England Pats will be without starting left tackle Isaiah Wynn for Saturday's wild-card game against the Buffalo Bills. The team ruled him out with injuries.

Wynn did not practice all week after leaving the game after just nine plays. This season has been the most consistent in terms of availability for the first-round pick from Georgia, who has battled multiple injuries over his career.

Wynn started 15 games and played most of the snaps. He was one of 13 players listed as questionable for the game, a group that included starting safety Kyle Dugger, disruptive defensive tackle Christian Barmore, starting defensive tackle Lawrence Guy, and starting linebacker Dont'a Hightower.

One of his backups, Shaun Wade, is also on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Bills did not list any players on their final injury report. The team has a number of options to replace Wynn. Last week, Herron was put at left tackle. Herron started six games as a rookies and has started four this season, playing 34% of the offensive snaps.

Herron is one of many second-year players who has experienced "big growth" this season, according to Bill Belichick. Trent Brown can be flipped from right tackle to left tackle and then Mike Onwenu can be elevated to right tackle.
