The Philadelphia Eagles running back had hand surgery less than three weeks ago, but he will play in the wild-card playoff game.
On December 26th, he had surgery after breaking his hand against the New York Giants. He missed the last two games of the season but is expected to play a significant role against the Bucs.
He said there were no limitations for Miles. He'll be our guy.
Josh Sweat is questionable with an illness. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to abdominal pain, but was back at the practice facility on Friday. Sweat is tied for first on the team with 7.5 sacks.
When he entered the NovaCare practice bubble, he did not have any protective gear on. He said nothing really too noticeable when asked if he would be wearing anything on his hand Sunday. In order to test the hand out, he went through ball security drills where the assistant coaches punch at the ball and catch passes out of the backfield.
"I'm going to try and protect it as much as I can, but I'm not going to be hesitant or timid," he said. It's good enough to play. That's all I know. It's good enough to play.
The Eagles averaged 159.7 yards per game on the ground in the regular season. He was second on the team in rushing yards and had 26 catches for 158 yards.
The Eagles, who won four straight before resting most of their starters in the regular-season finale against the Dallas Cowboys, are the 7th seed in the playoffs and enter as an 812 point favorite over the defending champion Bucs.
I think everyone should be careful about what they say about us. I think we're a very dangerous team.
