It's that time of the year again, when prices for customers in the US and Canada are going up. Depending on your subscription tier, monthly prices will increase by a buck or two.
In the US, the standard plan will go from 13 bucks a month to 15 bucks, and the premium plan will go from 18 bucks to 19 bucks.
Standard plans were hiked from 15.98 Canadian to 16.49. Standard plans only cover the use of two screens at the same time, while the premium allows for up to four and Ultra HD picture quality.

It's because this is what they do every few years. There was an extra dollar tacked on at the end of 2020. The same was true in October and May. The company's original content ambitions have grown in parallel to the price, but you start to forget that this service used to cost $8 a month a decade ago.
