Tesla Is Apparently Delaying the Disastrous Cybertruck Another Year

The release of the Cybertruck was delayed by at least three years.

The Cybertruck production has been pushed back until early 2023, because of the attempts byTesla to trick it into being more competitive.

This latest production pushback on the electric truck, first announced at the end of the year, comes after the planned launch date was removed from the website this month.

Futurism has not yet heard back from the company about the claim, which is unsurprising given that the entire PR team was fired by the company in October 2020. After the news, the company's shares dropped seven percent.

Car Wars.

The news of this pushback comes as electric pickup competition from Ford, Toyota, General GM and Rivian increases.

The cult-like fan base of the aforementioned is not the only difference between the two, as there is also a giant pre-order queue of between one and three million potential customers with units locked down. The company will make a nine-figure profit if people pull through with their $100 deposit, and the billions it will make once those trucks are actually produced and purchased.

It is not surprising that there will be at least three years between announcement and completion of the Cybertruck, but it is still an L for fans who have spent money and waited years for an EV truck.

The source said that the initial production of Cybertruck was delayed to early 2023.

There is more on Cybertrucks... but for some reason it is child-sized.
