Blame Dr. LeBronenstein for creating this monster

His addition to the Los Angeles Lakers has been a disaster.

It's fair to say that he can't shoot. Since the start of the new year, it is fair to add to his scouting report that he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

It comes as no surprise that he doesn't fit in L.A.

Most NBA analysts and sports radio talk show hosts predicted it as a first guess.

The most blame goes to James. He is a doctor. The Lakers is a monster created by him.

James is the general manager of the Lakers despite wearing shorts and dribbling a basketball. Make no mistake about it. Rob Pelinka would be called a liar if you could see the strings that he is pulling.

The Dream Team is what he wanted. He was the one who recruited Westbrook. Remember the video posted on social media with James and Anthony Davis in a pow- wow for the ages, convincing Westbrook it would work.

The Brooklyn Nets had a Big 3 with Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. If James wanted a shot at another NBA title, he had to be at his best.

The way the Lakers are put together, they have no chance of winning a title.

There was a better fit for the Lakers six months ago. They could have traded for Buddy Hield. He was the perfect person. He doesn't need the ball in his hands because he can shoot from the perimeter. It wouldn't have clashed with him. The doctor ordered Hield.

The Kings talked to the Lakers about a swap of players. The Lakers decided to package those two players, along with future draft picks and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, to the Wizards in exchange for Russell Westbrook.

There is only one reason Hield didn't join the Lakers. He wasn't a big enough name to play in L.A.

L.A. is a star-driven spot for its teams, with Mookie Betts coming to the Dodgers, and A.D. joining the Lakers. And of course there is him.

It has been a big flop that he is playing for his hometown team.

The Lakers are a mediocre bunch in the Western Conference at the halfway point of the season. They were the seventh-seeded team in the conference.

Anthony Davis has been hurt a lot. The team would be better if he were playing.

You would expect a team with James, Westbrook and Anthony to be better than they have been. Sometimes they beat the also-rans, but not any good teams most of the time. That look is not good.

The Lakers are a mess. It is hard to watch and not look away.

In the last four games, the shooting percentage of Westbrook has gone off the rails, now at a dismal 25.4% from the field. In Wednesday's loss to the Kings, Westbrook shot 2-for-14 from the field, including 0-for-5 from three-point land.

The idea of Westbrook was a bad one.

An NBA executive said that as you get older and become less freakish, you have to depend on skill, and that's what happened to Westbrook.

Spot on. Plus, he doesn't fit anywhere.

It didn't work in OKC with the two guys. In Houston, it didn't work with Harden. In D.C. it didn't work with Bradley Beal.

All of NBA America is watching it.

It is hard to blame the man for the bricks that he is shooting.

Don't get it twisted. It's the fault of the man that he thought he could make the man work in L.A.

It wasn't happening on paper when the trade was made, but it is now.

Lakers fans can be thankful for that.
