The 10th launch of a Falcon 9 rocket was marked by some nice before-and-after photos.

A Falcon 9 successfully delivered 105 satellites to the correct location on Thursday.

The 10th launch of this particular Falcon 9's first stage, and its 10th landing, was called Transporter 3. The booster flew away from the launch pad at Cape Canaveral and made a soft landing at the landing zone.

SkySats, the size of a mini fridge, are capable of resolving features as small as 20 inches (50 centimeters) on Earth's surface and Planet was able to capture imagery from space of the Falcon 9 both pre and post-flight. SuperDoves have a resolution of about 10 feet, or 3 meters.

One SkySat photo shows the Transporter-3 Falcon 9 standing at attention at Cape Canaveral's Space Launch Complex 40 one day before liftoff. Planet posted a SkySat video of the first stage of the Falcon 9 on Thursday.

The company said in a Thursday statement that Transporter 3 brought the total number of Planet satellites to more than 500.
Many of the spaceships were lofted by the company.

"We were thrilled to launch once again with SpaceX, who has now brought to orbit a total of 127 Planet satellites across eight launches," Will Marshall wrote in a post Thursday. This is the first launch under our new multi-year, multi-launch agreement.

The new SuperDoves are part of the existing fleet of 200 Planet satellites.
