Welsh outdoor crowds can return from 21 January

Fans have not been allowed to attend Six Nations games since 2020.

The Welsh Government decided to lift the restrictions on outdoor events over the next two weeks.

Fans should be able to attend Wales' first home Six Nations game against Scotland on February 12.

Fans can return to Wales later this month.

First Minister Mark Drakeford said it was a four-stage process.

The number of people who can take part in an event outdoors will increase from 50 to 500 on Friday, January 21st, and then again from 50 to 500 on Saturday, January 23rd.

If the numbers continue to decrease, we'll move alert level 0 for all indoor activities and premises, nightclubs can reopen, Covid pass still required for large events, and so on and so forth.

We'll go back to a three-week cycle of making decisions after we're at alert level 0.

Fans will be able to attend all five of the teams next weekend, though only one will have a home game on Saturday.

Crowds will be allowed when the Adran and Cymru premiers resume on February 9, 2020 after a break prompted by Welsh government regulations over crowds at sporting events.

The Adran premier will return on 13 February, while the south and north will return on 4-5 February.

Fans will be able to come back to the stadium for the game against Bristol.

The Covid rules in Wales were relaxed.

On Friday, 28 January, fans will be able to go to see the Dragons play Benetton in the United Rugby Championship, while the following day they will be able to attend the games of Edinburgh and Cardiff.

Crowds will be allowed for indoor events.

Fans can return to Ice Arena Wales for the Elite League fixture with Fife Flyers on Friday 28th, but the home games will be played behind closed doors.

The Motorpoint Arena will be the site of Liam Williams' fight with Chris Eubank Jr on February 5th after fears that it may be moved to another venue.

Parkrun events were suspended on January 1st.

Chester FC, an English club that is located on the Welsh side of the England-Wales border, can welcome fans back to their home games.

If the numbers in Wales continue to fall, then we will be announcing today that Six Nations games can expect to see capacity crowds in Cardiff.

Scotland will no longer restrict sports crowds from Monday, 17 January.
