Australia revoked the visa of tennis star Novak Djokovic for the second time in a row because of his refusal to bevaccinated.

The Immigration Minister decided that the man would be deported.

The Serbian can still launch another legal challenge to stay in the country.

The men's tennis number one was going to play in the Australian Open.

The minister said that he canceled the visa held by Novak Djokovic on health and good order grounds.

The move also means that the Serbian could be banned from Australia for three years for obtaining a new visa.

After arriving in Melbourne on 6 January, Australian border Force officials said he had failed to provide appropriate evidence to receive a vaccine exemption, and that he had his visa revoked.

Some Australians, who have lived under strict Covid lockdowns, were angry that the Serbian was allowed in despite being unvaccinated.

He was held at the airport for hours and then taken to an immigration hotel. His visa was restored by a judge who ruled that border officials ignored correct procedure when he arrived.

On Friday evening in Melbourne, Mr. Hawke canceled the visa of the Serbian tennis player.

The act allows him to deport anyone he deems a potential risk to "the health, safety or good order of the Australian community".

It came after he addressed allegations that he had made a false declaration on his travel form, which stated that he had not traveled in 14 days prior to his arrival in Australia.

He said the mistake was made by his agent and that it was not intentional.

He admitted to having a photoshoot and meeting a journalist after testing positive for Covid-19.

I will not watch him if he plays.
