(New Issues) United Travel Bank Goes Dark, Hopefully A Temporary Thing

The United Travel bank has been keeping an eye on us over the last few weeks. It came back a few days after the article was written. We started to hear of issues with the payment screen this afternoon. If you add your Amex card to your frequent flyer account, you should be fine. I've heard that the app works for some people who had issues with their computer.

If you waited until the last minute to use your Amex airline credit, you were hit with an end of year let down, and United Travel Bank was your go to. The United Travel Bank website has been down for a while. It is not known when it will be back up and running or if it will ever be.

If you like to use these days, then you may have to wait a bit longer, at least if United is your go to option. Flyertalk has the most up to date data points.

Southwest.
Delta.
There is a airline called JetBlue.
American Airlines.
Alaska Airlines
The United Airlines.

Hopefully the United Airlines Travel Bank will return soon. It was a favorite of many people. If you don't want to wait, there are still other options with other airlines.
