KFC’s Fake Chicken Isn’t Quite as Disgusting as Everybody’s Saying

The plant-based menu was launched this week. A host of new fake chicken products hitting deep fryers across the nation is bound to attract some media attention. We have to look forward to these days.

Diners were horrified by the chicken. Jon Jurasek, better known online as Reviewbrah behind the channel TheReportOfTheWeek, gave a damning review of the nuggets.

The controversial video shot up the charts on the video platform.

He ripped apart the dried portion with his hands, complaining that he couldn't bite into it.

Jurasek was ready to give his verdict after chewing for 32 seconds, but he said it tasted like chicken. It felt like it was made out of rubber.

We decided to get the plant-based meal box, which comes with a Beyond-based spin on the fried chicken sandwich.

Our was fine, maybe Jurasek just got a bad batches.

The popcorn chicken tasted like fried vegetables. The sandwich was a better experience than the patty, with the sauce and other ingredients making up for it.

It was not a ringing endorsement, but we did seem to find the fare more palatable than most others. Amy McCarthy found them to be difficult to chew and rubbery.

The nuggets were described as very tasty and good by other users on the social networking site.

The main question is why anyone would bother with a fast food joint. Popeyes is a better option for fast food chicken than any other.

More on the fake chicken issue.
