Fortnite Coming Back to iOS Soon Thanks to Nvidia's GeForce NOW Service

There are no signs that Apple will allow the popular battle Royale game to return to the App Store on the iPad and iPhone.

The company has found a way to work around it. In the near future, you will be able to play the game through a browser on your mobile device with touch-based controls.

The library of games from the GeForce NOW company can be played on the iPad. At the time, it was said that the version of the game that would run on the iPhone and iPad was being worked on by the company.

More than a year later, the game is almost ready to launch. Users can sign up for the upcoming closed alpha of the game at the following link.

There is a waiting list on the website for players to register for a chance to play the new version of the game on mobile devices. The game is going to be available on a variety of devices.

To participate in the program, you will need to create an account with Nvidia, sign up for a membership and join the waitlist. Both priority memberships and free memberships have an equal chance of getting into the alpha.

We can expect to see an official launch of the Fortnite experience for GeForce NOW after the limited time alpha is over, as selected beta testers will receive access to the game later in January. There is no word on when the game will be more widely available.

The app was pulled from the App Store by Apple in August of 2020 after it was discovered that the game's developer, Epic Games, had added a direct purchase option.

The initial decision in the case was reached, but both companies are appealing and there was no requirement for Apple to restore the game.

In September, Apple said that it had no plans to allow the game to be in the App Store until the legal battle is over.
