The Atlanta Hawks are trading young wing Cam Reddish, Solomon Hill, and a 2nd-round draft pick to the New York Knicks in exchange for a protected first-round pick from the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Knicks will send Kevin to Atlanta.

Reddish has been good for the Hawks this season, shooting a career-high 37.9% from three. He's been a solid depth piece for the team in his third season.
Atlanta has depth on the wing with Kevin Huerter, De'Andre Hunter, and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot all available. The team's three best options are the trio of Huerter, Hunter and Bogdanovic, leaving less minutes for players such as Reddish.
A change in scenery might be the best way to maximize his potential. New York is banking on it.
He's under contract through the 2022-23 season and they'll get more than one season with him to prove he's a good fit.

The Hawks took Reddish with the 10th overall pick in the NBA draft. In Atlanta, he's mostly been a role player off the bench.
The Knicks would like to see him take the next step.
He'll join a group of players that provide quality depth on the wing in New York. A young group of players like Mitchell Robinson, Reddish, Quickley, and Obi Toppin give the team a boost.
Reddish isn't going to make the Knicks a title contender. He will help them in their push for a second straight playoff spot.
