Remains of Houston couple found in 1981 finally identified. But their child, now 41, is still missing.

Harold Dean Clouse and Tina Linn Clouse were married in June 1979. The couple went missing in 1981 and their bodies were not found until 40 years later.

When they went missing, Harold was 22 and Tina was 18. The truth behind their disappearance wasn't discovered until a genetic genealogy agency tested their genes and found that they were related to a couple who were murdered in 1981.

Tina and Harold have been found, but their child, Hollie Marie, is still missing.

I went years in pain wondering where my son and Tina were. Donna Casasanta, Harold's mother, told USA TODAY that she can only hope that God will allow her to see her granddaughter one day.

Casasanta reported her son missing in 1981 after months of no communication. She said that her son joined a cult and the police quickly "excused the disappearance with them leaving with the cult."

Each time a new male body was found, I waited for my son or police to call. Casasanta told USA TODAY that he spent years with his chest on fire.

In January 1981 a dog walked into the woods and had a human arm in his mouth. The Houston Chronicle reported in 2011 that police discovered a man who had been beaten to death and a woman who had been killed.

The cold case of a missing Tennessee teen has been reopened.

The father of a missing child was arrested in the case.

There was no progress in Harold's and Tina's missing persons case.

The bodies were exhumed in 2011 and the organization that performs genetic genealogy for law enforcement decided to take on the case.

Allison Peacock, who worked with the genealogy and operations team at Identifinders International, called the Clouse family and confirmed the couple was Harold and Tina. Their child was never found.

The Clouse family wants more information. Where is Hollie?

This photo was taken months before her parents were murdered.

The family will never know full closure until the murderers are caught and the girl is found.

I can't stop thinking about what if she's out there and we don't know she's there. "I can't stop thinking of her again," said Harold's sister.

As far as the family knows, Hollie was last seen in Lewisville, Texas, and there is an ongoing investigation into her disappearance.

Peacock said she is working with agencies to create a progression photo that will show what Hollie would look like today. The hope is that the photo will reach someone who knows her.

The family members have submitted their saliva to ancestry.com and other sites in order to find out if they are related to Hollie. The Clouse family said they would never stop looking for Hollie.

The last piece of my brother and Tina was found. It means a lot to us to find her.

The Clouse and Linn family want anyone with information to come forward.

How were Tina and Harold identified?

The victims in the 1981 cold case were identified by Peacock and a senior forensic genealogist.

She works on cold cases of perpetrators or children and is interested in getting the love birds who died together with their families. Harold and Tina's genetic information was uploaded to Gedmatch.com, a genealogy site that gives law enforcement agencies access to users' genetic information.

In just 10 days, she identified the man who was unidentified for 40 years, thanks to Harold's genetic ties to Kentucky. After talking to the Clouse family, Peacock was able to identify the woman's body as Tina's.

Harold Dean Clouse was known as Junior to friends and family.

I was shocked when I got the call. It was just a shock. It had been a long time since I had driven down the road to see Junior. "I'd see a man in the store and think, 'Well doesn't that look like him,'" said Harold's sister, Deborah. The call that his body was found made me stop looking.

Casasanta said in 1981 that Harold was working in carpentry and focused on his family. Tina was the sweetest person anyone would ever meet, according to her. Casasanta was never satisfied with the conclusion that the couple had left the cult.

The Clouse family kept looking for the family. The Salvation Army and the Social Security Administration were contacted. The names of Harold, Tina, and Hollie were always on the missing person's list.

Harold's mother described Tina Gail Linn Clouse as "innocent and sweet".

Before I died, I asked God to give me answers about my boy. Casasanta said that they got the call last year when they wanted to know where he was. My chest is not so heavy after God answered my prayer.

The identification of the bodies isn't enough for him.

I want to know who did this and why. I want to know if my niece had a good life or if she was abused.
