Rogan conducted an interview with Dr. Robert Malone on New Year's Eve. The mandates and restrictions being imposed by government organs and health officials was something that was critical of the type of mRNA technology currently being deployed in a number of COVID-19 vaccines.
The video of the interview went viral on the internet before it was taken down. The video that violated community standards was uploaded by the doctor who specializes in vaccines on the show. The site has not explained what is problematic in the video.
He was banned from the micro-blogging site for spreading information that the left doesn't like.
Rogan spoke with Malone because of this. In an America where the left feels more comfortable with dissent, there needs to be platforms where people can hear things that are against their views.
Rogan is no stranger to negative attention and the interview with Malone on COVID-19 is the most recent bugaboo to attract the ire of the abominable union of government and corporate media.

The interview caused uproar from the left. Rogan and the episode were demanded to be removed from the platform by the Angsty employees.
Daniel Ek claimed that in the case of Joe Rogan, a total of 10 meetings have been held with various groups and individuals to hear their concerns. Some of them want Rogan out because of what he has said in the past.
Rogan seems almost stronger for all the criticism he has faced, as the episode remains on the streaming service. It can be tempting to celebrate the small victories, but the fight continues and so must we.
Rogan is pushing back against orthodoxy. Conservatives argue that a world where only one viewpoint is allowed is a recipe for disaster.
Conservatives have shown time and again that open debate is necessary for civilization to progress and flourish, and that state and private actors should not be allowed to censor it.

As citizens in a free and open society, it's important to have a platform where both the left and right can express their views. Rogan believes his job as an interviewer is to expose people to a variety of ideas, and allow them to come to their own conclusions, contrasted with the views of many in the highest levels of power that their role in society is to fight misinformation and censor wrongthink.
As COVID-19 fades as an issue, there will be another polarizing problem. New battle lines will be drawn up as both the right and left try to get the support of the American people.
