The Foo Fighters' Horror Comedy Actually Looks Rather Fun

Say the name and you think about rock. It's not really a word. The Foo Fighters. He is an all-time legend and he is still making music. Along with his musical journey, Grohl has also appeared in movies such as Bill and Ted Face the Music, Tenacious D in the Pick of the Litter, and The Muppets. That was only him. He will be starring in a feature film in February, and he has his whole band with him.

Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl and his bandmates are in a film called Studio 666. The Foo Fighters decide to record their landmark 10th album in a haunted mansion in Los Angeles, but quickly realize it is just a little bit spooky. The movie looks like it could be fun. The trailer is here.

In the trailer, it is stated that the film is based on a story by Grohl, but is directed by BJ McDonnell from a script by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes. Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, and Jeff Garlin were among the other people in that place.

This is a real movie. Not a spoof for an awards show. A film. It's almost like a return to the 1960s and 1970s when the biggest bands in the world starred in real movies as well as documentary and concert films. It almost feels novel because it is a concept we rarely see these days. There is something charming about the idea of a whole project, even if it is a film with six lead actors who can't act. We hope it is enjoyable.

The movie will premiere in theaters on February 25.
